So, I will admit that I had this grand plan for getting Brandon on an eating and sleeping schedule once he arrived. I thought he would eat every 2-3 hours and I would get him on a night sleeping routine immediately. Yeah, wishful thinking. I now know that it doesn't matter what I wanted to do because he is on his own schedule and lets me know very vocally when he wants to be fed, changed, play or sleep. I will say that the first month has been pretty rough as I feel like I never sleep because I don't.
Now that we are in the second month I am really trying to at least get a nighttime routine going to hopefully get him to sleep more than 3 hours a time at night. We are working on getting him to lay down by 10:30 at night. It is getting a little better each night but we are still getting up around 2:30am and 5 am. He isn't necessarily wanting to eat a full bottle (only about 2 oz at night as opposed to 4oz a feeding during the day) as I think he just wants to be changed (he hates being wet) and held for a bit.
We are also working on getting him to fall asleep in his crib more as opposed to falling asleep on the Boppy and then having to move him. I think this will be an ongoing issue as he just prefers falling asleep sitting up a bit.

These checks just keep getting bigger and bigger :) |

Mom, leave me along I am trying to sleep. |

He has gotten so big since this last picture in the chair. I cannot imagine how much bigger he will be next month. |

He really enjoys sitting in the Bumbo. I thought he might still be to little to try this out but he loves it :) |
