Pinterest Recipes I Have Tried Recently

Like most people, I am obsessed with Pinterest.  I find the best ideas on here for just about everything, especially food and cooking.  I have made it a point to try at least 1 or 2 new recipes a week just to mix it up at the house a bit. Below are some new ones that I have tried out.  The links the the recipes are under the pictures if you want to try them yourself.

I love anything that is pasta based so this was a no-brainer to try.  I wish the picture was better becuase it tastes fabulous.  This would be a great dish for entertaining since it presents well and you could just add a salad and some garlic bread and be done.

Amazing Homemade Burgers

So this may not look like much but this is definitely the best burger I have ever made!!!  You have to try this one.  I actually ate it without any type of condiment on it.  Toasting the buns made a huge difference also.  The fact that I made these on the stove and not on the grill was even more amazing.  If you have a skillet that has the grill lines on it then use that becuase it makes all the difference in the world!

Hawaiian Ham Sammies

These would be great for parties.  I wanted to test them out on myself and Nick first.  Super easy to make and super yummy.  I didn't have any poppy seeds on hand so I just made this without them but I don't necessarily think I was missing anything to be honest.  These are great either hot or cold; just make sure you cook them first before eating cold.  Very good the next day as well.

Crock Pot Chicken Fajitas

What a super easy way to have dinner ready for you when you get home.  This made a ridiculous amount of chicken and I actually used the leftovers for chicken enchiladas the next night.  Essentially got 2 meals in one with this recipe.  Cannot beat that!

Penne with Sun-dried Tomato Sauce

This is pretty similar to the casserole recipe except it is all made on the stove top.  Still very good and easy to make.  This takes a bit of work to make but I ended up making a HUGE amount and had lunch for days.   This was nice becuase you end up just mixing everything together in a big pot so not much cleanup after.
