Goodbye, October

Living in Florida, I always tend to look forward to when October comes around.  The weather starts to cool down some and the outdoor activities are endless.  Fairs, Festivals, Fishing, Football, Food...and Halloween.  That's what October on the Emerald Coast is all about.  I love October.  It's my favorite month of the year.  This year though, not so much.  I am looking forward to the end of this horrible month.  

It started on the 2nd with Brandon getting sick and then having an allergic reaction to soy.  He was miserable, I was miserable. It was just bad all around. That lasted about a week.  One week later, I get sick with pneumonia.  Still working on getting completely over that.

Then, last week I end up in the hospital with a pulmonary embolism.  Yeah, no fun.  Just got discharged Saturday but now I get the pleasure of having Nick give me 2 shots a day plus additional prescriptions I am having to take.  Lots of blood work, doctor's appointments and hospital stays do not make for a fun time.    

Now, we get to end the month with Nick being sick.  It's like a comedy of errors at our house.   With only 2 days left I am on official countdown to November.  Hoping next month brings us better luck.
