I have been cramming a lot of fun things into our weekends lately and I don't foresee that changing anytime soon. I went out Friday night with a good friend to see Hunger Games. It was amazing. Run, don't walk to the theater to see it (but read the books first). I'm not going to go into the movie too much but just know that it's definitely one of my favorite movies of the year PLUS you get to see the trailer for Divergent which is coming out this Spring (so excited to that).
We went to Boulevard 10 which is a different kind of theater in that they have a dinning club that you can watch the movie on the big screen but also order drinks and food (real food not the normal theater fair) while eating. Plus, the seats are amazing. Huge, comfortable, leather seats that rock and plenty of space between rows and seats so you don't feel like you are crammed in like sardines. It is definitely the way to see movies. I have already talked Nick into going out there to see The Hobbit when it comes out next month.
Saturday afternoon we had a birthday party to attend for a sweet little girl turning two. We spent most of the afternoon there and as we were leaving the most adorable thing in the world happened. You have to check out the video below to witness it.
Sunday was just a me and Brandon day as Nick was helping friends of ours move into their new home. Brandon and I played, cleaned, ate, napped and played some more. We also ventured out to the mall because I needed to pick up a few things for our trip this week to Tennessee (we are going to freeze up there). I went to Old Navy because I saw they had some really cute waffle knit long sleeve shirts and ended up buying three of them, plus long socks, some really cute comfy shoes that I am now deciding if I should go back and buy a few more in other colors, and a winter hat and gloves for Brandon.
Now I just have to finish cleaning our house and doing laundry before we leave Wednesday. Am I the only person who cleans the house top to bottom before going out of town? I just feel like it's nice to come back to a clean home after a vacation.
