And the fun fall weekends have begun. Be prepared for many weekend posts over the next month of so. We have so many fun things planned. Have I mentioned how much I love Fall?
We ventured out to the circus on Saturday. We took Brandon last year but I think he was a bit too young to really enjoy it fully. This year, he was all about it. The first thing he wanted to do was "ride the ponies." Then he wanted to get his face painted. SpiderMan is a big part of our lives right now so of course, that is what he picked. He also got a SpiderMan inflatable that hasn't left his side since (it's his new friend). Literally, he has slept with it, ate with it, talked with it, everything. Best $6 spent.
The actual circus performance was pretty similar to last year. Brandon's favorite part was the motorcycles in the sphere at the end. He was standing on his chair clapping and yelling during that part. The acrobats were amazing as always. It was a great time, especially for a 2.5 year old. He asked to go back on Sunday so I would say it was a successful trip.
Only downside, his face is still a bit stained from the red face paint.
Sunday was a wash out. Literally. It started raining Sunday morning and is still raining off and on today. We relaxed and lounged around the house all day while Brandon ran around in his SpiderMan and Captain America outfits.
It was a great weekend and I'm sad that it's Monday and back to work today. Luckily, another fun weekend adventure is only a few days away (unless I have some appointments, I'm off for the entire weekend starting Thursday).
